Oh Refilwe, sweet poet divine
Your words are like a sparkling wine
They flow like a river, smooth and fine
And leave us feeling oh so fine

Your verses are like a joyful tune
That fills our hearts from night to noon
And makes our spirits dance and swoon
As we sway to your poetic moon

Your imagery is like a colourful bloom
That brightens the air with sweet perfume
And makes our dreams take flight and zoom
Like a rocket ship through the cosmic gloom

Oh Refilwe, you are a gift to us all
With your talent that's so big and tall
Your words bring smiles, they never fall
You're a shining star, we're in awe

So let us raise our voices high
And praise this poet beyond the sky
For she's the reason we laugh and sigh
And her talent will never ever die!
