Redeemed By Grace Poem by Tess Rockenstire

Redeemed By Grace

The Evening sky a glowing,
As the stars above…
Tell a promise of resurrection.
Of a girl once dead of promise,
And the angst of death,
Screamed through the grave,
Awaiting for her decay.

The serpent danced victoriously,
Whilst this girl in agony.
But the father heard her cries in the cold dark night.
And reached out his hands from heaven,
And pulled this girl from hell, and gave her a second chance.

There I stood with victory in my hands.
No more death shall arise in this palm.
I have power against the devil’s scheme.
By the grace of God’s redeeming love.
