Red Lacrimation Poem by Sven Rhoads

Red Lacrimation

Wounded deep you feel your soul begin the bleed
Looking so far ahead for the solution that you need
Left in the blind are all those things you have
Trying to be the optimist but sorrows driving you mad

From sorrowed eyes the crimson falls
Cutting deeper then ever before
Why can nothing come to numb the pain
Beyond the hands that reach into the sky
Always so close and yet so far
Why is nothing enough to achieve the dream

Crying from within you can feel it falling down
The castle made of sand washed away by waves
Feeling so strong but you're only coming to drown
There's got to be more of a future than the grave

Crimson tears don't wash away so easily
When you hold the pain deep inside
Violating every chance to set yourself free
Of your sweet salvation you let yourself be denied

From open wounds that no one sees
Bleeding out until nothing is left
Why cant you see the beauty that is
Beyond the touch of those soft sweet lips
Always pulled back into the dark
Why does the dream seem more real than this life
