Red Angled Toward Night Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Red Angled Toward Night

Rating: 5.0

wild birds are gliding
in the crimson dimension
of sunset on sea

sly stars are twinkling
through treetops along the shore
dark curtains will fall

in the twilight hour
there'll be songs to sunset moon
cream dipped in roses

The picture is fascinating. The striae capture reflected light breaking up slightly on calm water, or maybe different hues blending. I invite you to read my poem about darkening redness: THE SEA INCARNADINED

'Red angled toward night' and 'crimson dimension' are beautiful phrases. You have a strong feel for color as an indicator of time passing.
