WOW! How can just a dozen and a half words create such a tension within the reader? If this begins as an invitation to love, the invited one blows it apart to reveal perhaps Bad Faith in the one offering, as if he just discarded a previous lover to make room for the new. This is the careless accumulation of conquest of a Don Juan, who has to love a thousand women because he cannot love just one.
