We gather once more, familiar and new,
Faces from distant past where our laughter once flew.
Time may have carved many lines on our skin,
But deep in our hearts, the old memories reign.
Echoes of lockers, of bells we once knew,
Of night walks after prep class to the dorms we went through.
We shared many stories, we gossiped a lot too
Our lives were categorized under yellow, green, red, and blue.
Some chased their dreams and caught them in flight,
Some learned to bend in the long, quiet night.
Yet here we all are, with memories in tow,
A generation of seasons, of high tide and low.
We speak of the past not to linger or dwell,
But to honour the roads that have shaped us so well.
Laughter erupts like it always has done,
Reminding us clearly: we're many, yet one.
So raise up our hands to the years we have braved,
To lessons, to friendships, to moments we've saved.
The roots of our stories were planted deep in TKC
In the hearts of our youth, we imbibed life from A to Z
Happy re-bonding, re-connecting! This was written in anticipation of the TKC' 72 class reunion, which will be held at The Rebung Restaurant, Kuala Lumpur on 24th August 2025. We are mostly 70 years old ladies :)
