Reawakened Joy Poem by Mathew Johnson

Reawakened Joy

In shadows deep, where sorrows lie,
A heart once lost, beneath the sky,
Now stirs awake, with hopeful gleam,
A resurrected, joyful dream.

Through valleys dark, and mountains high,
A flicker starts, it cannot die,
The echoes of a happy past,
Return at last, meant to last.

With every beat, a vibrant song,
A melody, where it belongs,
The heart finds peace, its spirit free,
Reborn to joy, eternally.
