If my sadness vanishes,
Then my happiness will, too
For as long as I can feel the pain
I can know I still live
And so I pray,
Let my wounds remain.
I know not how to win or lose
This game called Life
But I know I have something important to protect.
I’d rather grip the fingers of the one I love than laugh
So hold my hand.
Together, let’s cling on to a dream
We were never taught.
Slowly, slowly,
Let’s us, together, walk
The way we were never taught.
If our sadness won’t vanish
Then there must still be reason to live.
Hang on tight
Together, we’ll live.
