I have been reading poetry even 'trash' on this site but yours is more than a song. Your lines are poetical water that can keep one refreshed all life long. So Aqeeb, work harder though I know you are doing more than just a try. Almighty Allah will support you for truly you are bound to fly.

To tell the truth, I honestly felt I was talking to Allah! The approach is magnificent, this is perfect! the feeling this poem brings is remarkable. Love the starting lines! ! so melodious that really starts the flow of the tone of this poem like a song! My fav part is the whole poem, I'm sorry i can't pick a few stanzas like i usually do. It's flowing over with beautiful meanings and hopeful lava! ! This is such a poem which will give you hope and feel happy no matter what mood you are in..it grabs your attention so intensely and shifts it and brings peace to your soul, lets you know that Allah is in your heart! ! Jazak-allah Khair for this beautiful msg! enjoyed it very much!

An excellent write, my friend. Highly spiritual and I like that.It has an excellent flow that makes for an easy read but it is also loaded with substance. I believe that we have the ability to develop our talent but the talent itself is a gift from God and we certainly should always acknowledge him in all that we do. I see a great deal of talent in your writing. Thanks Richard

This thing is nothing more than an amateurish sermon, so far as I can tell. There is a glimpse perhaps of something poetical now and again, but the total sum equates to no more than a prayer with a quirky and (won't name it) agenda. You can't fool me with dictates developed for a desert people a 1000 years ago. Forget about it: I'm an atheist already. I believe that science holds all the keys to the questions of existence. Period.

Your talent has me at an awe, if only I could write the way you do. I'm not jealous but definitely envious of such a skill. If your age rings true. then you are truly blessed so never stop writing. I work at it everyday, if only to better myself in someway. And still you make me look like a little boy still trying grasp the world. No 11 on here so I hope you can settle for a 10.

Hi Aqeb, read all 4 of your poems, especially I enjoyed this one. You can sense your spirituality through your words. The first lines are very light also have a very deep meaning and i'm amazed to see how you put this 'lightness' and then at the same time this 'deepness' style of poetic writing into one poems. So well done. it has a very sensational feeling to it. Your only a young person but write as someone much experienced, So you will obviously progress into a fine poet if you keep it up! ! I can connect so much with your poems, thank you alot for sharing.

'And I wish I could feel, Your presence in my soul' This line is sublime. I think this is what real prayer is all about. If we truly want to feel God's presence in our soul, our prayers become meaningful. It requires concentration, thinking alertness, feeling and intuition all at the same time, but praying with the true aim to be close to God, is so rewarding. If people pray because they fear our Creator, they are on the wrong foot. Our Creator deserves the best of our love. I think you were touching me very much with this poem. Really good. In a similar context I wrote: 'sacrifice for the ego, privilege for the soul'.
