Real Me Poem by Binayakumar Mohanty

Real Me

Rating: 4.7

Before the mirror
I was
dying my grey hair
moisturizing
skin dry and wrinkled
applying
baby pink
over the lips
almost cracked.

Adding Ginseng
to my tea too cold.

And about to
pass my wallet
and key
You arrived
and smiled at me
saying
When did I say
I wanna marry you?

Oops!
At the moment
I broke into pieces
trying to discover
real Me
from among
the broken pieces.

You don't have to worry much as you would get must and not optional. Good art

An exact timing of her entering into.. nicely timed in the context of the poem. Loved the intensity of dramatization. Beautifully penned. 10+++

Right dear it is intriguing. It is a bit of a mistry you have tried to unravel. But let the mistry be a mistry with which poetry leaves.when unfolded it dies thirsty.I loved with the comment with such a nice gift.Thanks.
