Reading Shakespeare Poem by keith brown

Reading Shakespeare

A poem read by pauper's eyes,
Yet held aloft by men so wise
A light as bright as summer sun
Doth shine!
Words tumble like a winters rain
Tinkling, thunderous life's refrain
Poetic licence here to burn
iambic pentameter to discern
Free verse!
Words define, fall on a page
As blank as mine, yet still I read
As verse verse verse to turn a page
Compel!
