I agree with you, Sir, that no translation can truly match and reflect the grandeur, grace and the charm of the original work. But for those who are less fortunate, can still satisfy their quest through good quality translations. If I want to read Homer's epic poems and I don't know Greek, a good translation can be of immense help. Thanks for sharing your views in such a lovely poem.
