Tower cranes we see
Reaching the sky
Slender inverted L-shaped
Truss structures in steel
Large flags waving
Say welcome to viewers
Keep on working
Moving materials
Beams, concrete
And whatever needed
Creating buildings
Like child builds
Creative forms
Using Lego blocks.
As building gets taller
Masts are added
To raise the crane
Higher and higher
An engineering feat
Serving our needs
High technology
Helps man conquer
Space so easily
Available land's
Best utilized to build
Large communities
Dwellers' comfort
Never compromised.
A project completed
They move to another
Safely developing
Another high rise
Tower cranes're indeed
A welcome sight
Showing our progress
Reaching new heights.

Technology has come a long way to make things easier. But the question is, do we really need this concrete jungle?
