I smile at this monologue, Daniel—you speaking to us your reader/listeners. Smile at your transparency. Smile with recognition. This makes me think of a favorite mystic Walter Hilton who advises that we find something that makes us feel close to God, the Divine. But/if, he says, one finds something better, then do that. Lately I myself am reading in the Psalms again in different versions including the Orthodox Jewish Bible. Until I feel inspired, get another idea, my talisman. -Glen
Daniel, your poem reminded and transmitted that rosary with prayer-bows may give such tender emotion, such grace as touch of light, especially if rosary reminds of family members!
