Ratings Comments

I usually do not rate, but leave comments instead. A rating is entirely subjective and impersonal. A comment is of course subjective as well but can be of use to the poet sometimes. Yes, every poem is special and I encourage everybody to write and share

Yeah, That is true. Very kind of you. Every drop here is a gem and very difficult to rate.

I find it hard to understand how we could rate a poem low. I'd give a 10, or nothing less As every poem is a bless. Yes. I am of your opinion too. I always rate a poem to 10. If I happen not to be able to like or understand it, I leave it unrated. Thanks for speaking our voice in most perfect manner. But now I would rate it a 10++. Yours Subhas

I hear you Elena...With a small fistful of exceptions I haven't rated poems on this site since I returned in 2014.Comments, if they are sincere, and whether they are praised or constructively criticized is the very best route to take...Especially on a site where the talent scale ranges from dreck to commendable work...Placing numbers on someone's art, (or what they might consider art) is a poor and counter-productive source of evaluating as the quality of Poetry, Prose, Essay, even Novels or short stories are all subjective and based on the Author's style as opposed to the Critiqueors lending critique on grammatical faux-pas or typo's, mis-spells are best shared with the Author via Private Message...otherwise, and once again...go to the comment box.P.S...Hope all is well in your world.. ~FjR-'16~
