The poet has been very bold in describing an act of sexual assault on a woman in all its barbarity vis-a-vis the real character and hypocrisy of a rapist. Analytical yet poignant. I quote: Except that the wounds also bleed inside. Except that afterward men ask if you enjoyed it. The fear of the smiling man....In whose pocket is a knife.
