I had few dreams too you know, I too had planned my future, , , , burning rage...10 future spoiled chances not availed earned bad shame whom to blame?
I think you spoke a brutal truth. This poem disturbed me. It is very very good poetry about a horrid event. I can't say any more except you made a picture I didn't want to see.
A truly blunt and powerful write. The tragedy is that perpetrators of such acts gloat over their horrendous acts. I have also written about the fate of such a victim in my poem 'Cry of a soul'.
Wow! How terrible! Powerful in it's resentment and loss! If this is experience talking I am so sorry for you. (((HUGE HUG)))
I am speechless! I am sure the other readers would also. I am feeling the pain as your every word dig deeper into my heart. Well written, great job. I hope this piece of your work will go a far way. Well done Lucifera.
This poem really hit the issue well. This is the best poem on RAPE I have read. Great work. Kudos. Keep writing
Enjoyed the last part of Valerie Dohren's comment and agree to it!
A brilliant write Lucifera, blunt and powerful, telling It how it is. The penalty for rape should be castration.
So realistically you have portrayed the victim's picture, as if we are the eye witness to this ghastly scene. You have poured your heart into it to make it sound so real. You get 10/10 from me. This is a poem of high standard.
horrible, blunt, brutal, but true. And such a loathsome sexual violence is perpetrated every minute, there and here.. everywhere.. Pain is so deep in your powerful lines.. A very good poem, Lucifera. Really a brilliant composition Wish only that words like these [When I am no longer the desired thing] no longer be thought by the victims of rape. Rapists can only think that way, I know, but women cannot be things. Not for a Real Man, for sure. A victim of rape needs to realize this: a man who loves a woman, can help her overcome her pain.
