Random Thought 52 (Watch How And Where You Invest!)
To have a stake in something
One must invest in it.
It's true to your own self
True for family, true for friends
True for community and true for nation.
Expecting allegiance without giving back
Is as selfish as expecting fruits of labor
Without actually doing any labor.
Pay your dues first to get your reward.
Don't be a Cuckoo bird and lay your eggs
In other's nest to be cared for and
To steal their nest.
So well said! Self discipline is the surest way to freedom. A nest unattended will be filled before you can blink!
The clever birds have been doing it since the ancient time, imperialism is as ols as the man is.
Man has always laid his eggs in the nest of another bird, by the passage of time we accept this dishonesty. Forgetting the unethical imperialism we should move forward.
Today, most people want to reap profit without much investment. For them, this poem is an eye opener. 'Don't be a Cuckoo bird and lay your eggs In other's nest to be cared for and To steal their nest.' - so wonderfully said!
