Nothing or no one has a solitary existence
Each one is a link in the braided cord,

You are referring to globalization, I think. The whole world is interconnected. We have a choice either to strengthen this bond by trade, exchange of arts and science, .. or else try to destroy like the terrorists such as ISIS who spread anarchy. Your poem is extremely relevant.

Magnificent thoughts, Valsa. In addition to the great verse, there is so much to think about. I wonder if it is possible for one to become a complete chain? This goes to myfavourites.

Very true, Valsa. At times one feels very isolated but if we think about it we're more connected than we could ever realize. And we have an impact on other people's lives that we'll likely never know the full effects of. Thanks for posting this lovely poem.

We are part of a chain and not a solitude. As soon as finished reading, I thought of John Donne. You must really know and understand his work. Brilliant, Valsa.

We are all connected by an invisible cord. To be a vital part of a team is a pride and all in the team must contribute to strengthen the team effort. An inspiring poem.

To come out of the narrow boundaries of self, what is needed is selflessness. Perhaps this is the reason the books of wisdom tell us to rise above the ego, and be as close as possible to atman, the real or higher self (Self) to see the bigger picture, to see one's self in others, and all others in own self. A thought-provoking piece indeed.

Only if we annihilate our ego and draw closer to the Almighty, we will be able to see others also in our bonded, bigger circle. Thank you sir!

This is so very true! Only lately, around the age of 40, I have started to realise that certain things which appeared to happen mysteriously; actually, they were all connected. A profound poem!
