You are referring to globalization, I think. The whole world is interconnected. We have a choice either to strengthen this bond by trade, exchange of arts and science, .. or else try to destroy like the terrorists such as ISIS who spread anarchy. Your poem is extremely relevant.

We are all connected by an invisible cord. To be a vital part of a team is a pride and all in the team must contribute to strengthen the team effort. An inspiring poem.

To come out of the narrow boundaries of self, what is needed is selflessness. Perhaps this is the reason the books of wisdom tell us to rise above the ego, and be as close as possible to atman, the real or higher self (Self) to see the bigger picture, to see one's self in others, and all others in own self. A thought-provoking piece indeed.

This is so very true! Only lately, around the age of 40, I have started to realise that certain things which appeared to happen mysteriously; actually, they were all connected. A profound poem!
