Nothing or no one has a solitary existence
Each one is a link in the braided cord,
Connecting and strengthening the chain.

Beautiful poem, Valsa. The image of all being part of a chain is wonderful.
Yes! ! Everything is fastened to everything else! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Magnificent thoughts, Valsa. In addition to the great verse, there is so much to think about. I wonder if it is possible for one to become a complete chain? This goes to myfavourites.
Very true, Valsa. At times one feels very isolated but if we think about it we're more connected than we could ever realize. And we have an impact on other people's lives that we'll likely never know the full effects of. Thanks for posting this lovely poem.
Radom Ruminations penned with with deep thoughts. True everything is connected. As always a big score of 10, dear Valsa.
We are part of a chain and not a solitude. As soon as finished reading, I thought of John Donne. You must really know and understand his work. Brilliant, Valsa.
Excellent thoughts and reflections. Reminds me of my Random Thought series. Looking forward to read more of these.
Linked to mother and father first, it goes on to link us with their parents and their parents and so on in a chronological order at last to conclude with one God and Goddess...we are all linked with the siblings too and thus the link goes on to a vast expanse. So journey beyond the narrow boundaries of self To become the vital part of a bigger story! .. lovely start of Random Ruminations series Valsa....looking forward to the coming Ruminations....- 100
Everything is fastened to everything else Nothing or no one has a solitary existence Each one is a link in the braided cord..........I profusely admire the inbuilt message! An insightful piece of work..10
Good to remember this, Valsa, when part of us is experiencing our existential aloneness. -Glen
If humanity realizes this, no one will feel lonely! Thank you Glen!
We are all connected by an invisible cord. To be a vital part of a team is a pride and all in the team must contribute to strengthen the team effort. An inspiring poem.
To come out of the narrow boundaries of self, what is needed is selflessness. Perhaps this is the reason the books of wisdom tell us to rise above the ego, and be as close as possible to atman, the real or higher self (Self) to see the bigger picture, to see one's self in others, and all others in own self. A thought-provoking piece indeed.
Only if we annihilate our ego and draw closer to the Almighty, we will be able to see others also in our bonded, bigger circle. Thank you sir!
This is so very true! Only lately, around the age of 40, I have started to realise that certain things which appeared to happen mysteriously; actually, they were all connected. A profound poem!
Yes, many things which happen in our life are connected! Thank you!
Yes, we all are connected by an unseen threads. We are one as a whole. A great philosophic poem.
Great connection between the two, mind and body, body and universe, atoms to mass and substance and you rightly said Everything is fastened to everything else . Loved it.10+++
You are referring to globalization, I think. The whole world is interconnected. We have a choice either to strengthen this bond by trade, exchange of arts and science, .. or else try to destroy like the terrorists such as ISIS who spread anarchy. Your poem is extremely relevant.
