Such a sweet poem on Raksha Bandhan, Rajnish ji. Your Sister sends you love and blessings- the best gift ever. A wonderful festival of India.........10
Yes, the best gift ever. Being the eldest of us siblings (4 brothers and 1 sister) , she is really very caring especially after the passing away of my parents in 1991-92 and two of my elder brothers. Thanks, Geeta ji, for sharing my sentiments.
I remember those days when my sisters celebrated it, a beautiful and pious festival loved by all.
Yes, this is indeed a lovely festival for all sisters and brothers. Thanks for such a nice feedback, Akhtar sahab.
You are blessed to have such a likable sister, even though she is 12,000 miles away.
Yes, by the grace of God, we are truly blessed to have such an affectionate and caring sister. She might be about 7500 miles away, but remains closer to our hearts.
Thanks, Michael, for your kind words about this wonderful festival and the poem.
Raksha Bandhan, a well culture between brother and sister I think, thanks for sharing the poem with us
Thank you, Dear Friend, for you kind words about this poem as well as the festival of Raksha Bandhan.
You have so astutely and startlingly inscribed on Raksha Bandhan which is an important festival of India celebrated as the affectionate bond between a brother and a sister. Your sister remaining in a distance could not send you a Rakhi but could send you her love and blessing. Thanks for sharing.
Surely, these colourful festivals bring so much joy and verve in our lives. Thanks a lot, Dear Kumarmani ji.
They also help us rejuvenate our bonds and relationships with the family and outside.
Your sister is physically very distant from you, but close in contact, I think. I have one young sister far away but we phone each other constantly. Or she sends a text. A poem which reminds me how significant family is-brothers and sisters.
