Rainbows Poem by Eva Mae Witt

Rainbows

There are certain things like fog on hills
so as the very beauty of butterflies on sills
like the beautiful rainbows cast by the sun on glass
have special charm beyond to which they shall pass.

We all take a break from our daily routine duty
as we all try to capture every fleeting beauty
without any further adieu, a woman leaves and then
she may whimsically dance when returns again.

Many people seem to bend to marvel at all the flowers
there off in the overhead in all the redwood towers
readily steadfast, then faithful by mournful storm unfazed,
thus the familiarity beauty will endearingly be praised.

As you see the need for the beauty of the day is fair
for, in reality, you reassure yourself in joyous beauty care
then you enjoy the beauty of rainbows when you may;
and you will see my love is with you each and every day.
