The eventful Senryus written with so much pure images that are so close to the real life observation. Rain is always a joy that soaks through everyone's heart. Rain is indeed a healing beauty whether it be physical or emotional....

The elders hate the rain Their arthritis starts to flame Bending over can be the worst when the flood bubble begins to burst It is a great poem in figuring out what all the walks of life think about the rain. Farmers, Dogs, Plants....10++

In the second line of the 'Rain' senryu, opening is two syllables, not three. I even checked my theasaurus to make sure. Otherwise, all the other lines are okay and they are all very good senryu poems, Sandra. All you have to do is rephrase it like this, 'Opening the heaven's floodgates' and it will be perfect. Carl.

Sun, water and air, the most important elements for soil to play with. God knows that and sends the rain. A beautiful imagery!

Linking these poems up with the theme of Rain is admirable. The Gods, children and beggers all take part in your Senryu but in different roles. Great imagination.! 10 Karin Anderson
