RAIN'S LULLABY
By Paul Sebastian
Tip-tap, tip-tap, tip-tap
On window pane, rain splatter
Drops stream down, drip by drip
Eyes go dreamy, eye-lids flutter
Blowing wind sings, howling
Sari-clad rain is joyously dancing
Laden clouds burst, pouring
Sending down heavenly blessing
Children indoors, safely keep
Under blanket, soundly asleep
Hugging pillows, as lightning flash
Following, cracking thunders, bash
Tip-tap, tip-tap, tip-tap
Drumming on the pane, drops rap
Garden hibiscus shrubs do a dance
In rain's lullaby, kids sleep, in trance
