Rain Poem by Emily Krauss

Rain

Falling from the cloudy sky
like tear drops dripping from my face
when I cry drenching me to the core.

I'm feeling miserable
My body's shivering
like a shaking earthquake
longing to be indoors by the cozy fire.

But oh no I'm having to be outdoors
trying to be strong as a tree
putting up with the havoc
that the weather throws at me
