The lineage of Nehru and his generation
always have been so brave and bold;
they have blessed our nation with freedom
they have taken our country to new horizons
they have sacrificed their lives for our nation;
and they will never refrain to tell you what they feel;
it may make you angry and revengeful;
they will always move ahead without rest,
it is in their genes to lead the nation
they will walk those avenues to reach their destination
they will do all that their inclination dictates;
the dawn of freedom would never have risen in our nation,
it was the ancestor of Rahul who lighted the vision.

Today for a few words of audaciousness,
a few sentences of opinion and alertness
makes a court of justice resort to
convicting Rahul for his grammar
when it was his great grandfather
who paved the way and walked our India
thro the gates of freedom and democracy?
And as many will have their says and ways,
those that impact other's ego
always brings in a harrow and arrow
yet in the eyes of sunshine and gratitude
over the mountains of the Himalayas
are two names that soldiers always whisper-
Gandhi and Nehru and it makes them feel the proudest
as has any leaders father or grandfather struggled
or joined the struggle for freedom
to make our nation free and democratic?
It is Nehru who was Rahul Gandhi's great grandfather!
