Raftemen Playing Cards Poem by Joshua Adeyemi

Raftemen Playing Cards

Raftmen Playing Cards

As they sail on the waters,
From depth to depth yonder.
Then Elation knocked at their heart,
And many was enthralled by her arts:

'Let catch fun Dudes' one have said.
And others 'Oui', their pleasures were misled.

So did they sail on their pleasure:
Can one sail on two boats at a measure?

Yea! Their pleasure had them in that,
While they exploded their heart.

'Man, get thee off, I win! ', A greyed brained ranted,
Pushing forth his hand and legs.
'I'll come in now, to contest', another said.
'Hurray! ' all did shouted.

Being monitoring their ways,
The wind spoke with the waters as she sway.
Then conspired, the paddler's stick was hijacked,
By the Pair. Then the water ransacked,
Firstly their boat,
And sooner their both.
