Raf Lancasters Bombers Full Moon Hunted Poem by Terence George Craddock

Raf Lancasters Bombers Full Moon Hunted

in childhood countless stars at night are a delight
a moon shining bright is a wonderful beautiful sight
a safe comfort security blessing night bliss delight

there was a time innocent childhood beauty full moon
beautiful glorious stars morphed into chill fear stained
sky a wolf full moon is a killers moon a hunters moon

it is true countless stars glory bright white full moon is
a wonder delight at night but the full moon terror wolf
moon serves flak gunners steel teeth hunter not hunted

full moon terror is night sweats clenched fear teeth to
bomber crew moon stalked trail straight line prey flying
flying at night terror bright in bullseye target full moon

full moon bright frozen in terror night stacked dice decks
allowed anti-aircraft guns to find spotlight target claw bombers
assisted enemy night fighters to find shred shoot down bombers...
