This is beautiful, Mary. The waords amount to so much; thank you for this- you don't know how much. Cheers; BWF.
The scripture speaks that time must be spead up or all flesh would parish.
To badly paraphrase Jack Kerouac from Desolation Angels: As soon has everything is good and going alright, it falls apart and it is that falling apart that causes such sadness. Time is brief, we mostly suffer and fail and then sleep for eternity, our words gone.
I think that there is a spirtual part of all of us that carries on.I would be happy to see you there when we arrive, all could, throw away their baggage and set free into the garden of love and light.Love Duncan
It's all to do with age Mary, the older you get the nearer you get to forever, and it starts impinging on your mind. Try to live for the day, and try not to think about what tomorrow may or may not bring, I've learnt this over the past few weeks. A very well constructed and thoughtful poem, I loved it. Your usual great write, straight from the heart. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
When you get to forever, think of all the memories you'll have forever. Nice write Mary
Wow, good stuff, Mary... I can certainly relate, sometimes forever doesn't feel long enough. Well done! Brian
