Racing Rain Poem by Luke Fellner

Racing Rain

Race to ground,
little droplets.
Fall from high.
High above the ground.

Race to the ground,
from the same cloud,
born alike,
But race to the ground.

Faster and
Faster and
faster,
you fall.

Race till you see
the ground,
then plead with the wind!

For now you've learned
that the ground is
not where we
should be
racing
to.
