I really respect your love for humanity. There are so many bad people out there, but there are so many good people who make up for the bad, even with their little bit of love. But I suppose the bad people aren't bad, they just do some bad things.. I feel that everyone has the ability to do good in this world. Even if it's just a small gesture. Thankyou for your powerful words.... Marina Gasbey....

A powerful piece. It asks us to respect and remember all those who suffer without over stating the point. You could go on and on about suffering but the power is in the point being made simply and effectively. Keeping faith in human nature is something that we seem to be lacking, but this poem restores this paucity of faith.

'I see the glow of a candle fade, So tender and sublime, I know the quest has begun, My race with time.' from this stanza you can not really tell that it was going to talk about cancer patients.... coz this stanza is more universal in the sense that everyone the day they are born the race with time begins but looking at it with a different eye it may sound like the words of a person who is growing up fast yet they have not achieve what they want to achieve and they begin to wonder if they are going to beat time coz the clock will be ticking..... but i thank you so much for dedicating this piece to cancer patients and i respect you for sharing such a great poem.... we also pray for them and remember them. keep up the sense of humanity that you have and we are going to be here standing for those who have such values.... thank you once again... chao kuda

Groans of misery and dismay, Have started filling the air, All I can feel around, Is a wave of despair. in these lines u bring in real despair of those who suffer. i praise your magnanimity to dedicate a poem to people who suffer from cancer. it is a great work especially when u think of the sufferings of others.

Mr Shetty, request, I oblige I've long since 'Mused' to express with rhyme. Serious saddened thoughts do not originate to be a lyric for song and dance. Metaphor is to word for a less depth felt emotion, whereas, your articulate composition need define and dedicate where that of simplicity be read with complete understanding. Your Note; conveys that which it seeks to not impress, but reveal all 'Empathy' - that Is spontaneous and written from within. ...louie levy

Very nice composition. I feel it could be dedicated to the whole of mankind - not necessarily to cancer patients alone as pain need not always be physical. Each one of us is like a diminishing candle...the countdown has already begun as we are getting ready to reach our final destination. Yes, a painless and peaceful end would always be welcome...heralding a new beginning after a beautiful end.
