POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Rabbit is inspired by a nightly visitor that eats the seeds that fall from my bird feeder during the day. Rabbit is a modern contemporary English haiku, nature, non-rhyming in 3 lines of 17 syllables,5,7,5, syllables, and written in 13 words with capitals and punctuation. Centered for aesthetic symmetry the image is by me Josehf Lloyd Murchison.
