Too much of the intricate language will spoil a piece of poetry unless the reader is happily addicted to such playfulness. It's like the poet and the reader patting themselves on the backs just for knowing the words and their meanings and the poet planting the words into the poetry like they were a mass of roses, beautiful to some, but not to all.
