" If You Are Just Willing To Believe? " Poem by Roxanne Dubarry

'If you are just willing to believe?
But believe in what, you may asks
Yourselves? And better yet, believe
In Whom? ***

Before you believe in God, should you not
Just first be willingly able to acknowledge
His very existence? And when you are told
In what, you probably first mention: yourselves,
Your families, your friends and even your pets! ***

Thus you are not even willing to give God the time of
Day! God created the heavens and the earth, and like it
Or not, God also created you, and has a real purpose
Designed just for your lives.***

Once you are willing to acknowledge the existence of God,
You have taken a gigantic leap of faith! Because the vast
Majority of the people of planet earth either believe in
Other Gods, or no God at all. (That is why they are called
Nones because they have no God at all.) ***

But you did not come to this conclusion all by yourselves!
Because other people have diligently and faithfully prayed
For you! And furthermore, their righteous prayers have
Reached the very throne room of Jesus Christ! He dispatches
His Holy Spirit to begin speaking to your very heart of your
Minds! And therefore Jesus Christ begins knocking and knocking
Loudly at your hearts doors! ***

Just patiently waiting for you to grant unto Him, the Golden
Keys unlocking your heart's door! But Satan is also waiting
To snatch away your seed of faith! Just like a hungry bird
Of prey! 'If you hear God's voice (and words today) behold
Today is you accepted times (days) of Salvation.' Today is
Your days to pass from everlasting death unto everlasting
Life! ***

But wait just a minute! Suppose God has been granting you
Many, Or maybe just even one chance to become born again
Reborn anew?) What if you have rejected Him so very often,
You have sinned Away Your last day of grace? Just imagine
You are at a church service? And the preacher or pastor has
An alter call? calling You either: to bow your head and pray,
Or to lift up your hand and pray, or to go to the alter
And pray? ***

And you once more harden your heart, and close your ears, to
Your very last salvation's call? And you go home and die of
A heart attack or stroke? Maybe you have a fatal car accident
On your ways from your church service, or maybe you just end
Your lives by committing suicide? ***

And you pass from your earthly Life into an eternity separated
From Jesus Christ and your Redeemed loved ones? 'In short if
You Go to hell, go directly To hell and do not pass go and do
Not collect two hundred dollars! ' ***

Every second of every day multitudes of people are passing
Away into either heaven or hell? And thus hell is constantly
Enlarging It's boundaries! Believe it or not, where You end up
Is entirely up to you! Believe it or not people send themselves
To Hell! ***

And God sends them to heaven! If I were you, I would not
Like to spend a game of Russian Roulette with your lives! My
Older cousin Robin died that way when I was only seventeen
Years old! And he was in the Navy when it happened! I honestly
Believed he passed from this life into Hell fire and brimstone!
