Quietude Poem by Varsha M

Quietude

Rating: 5.0

Man was once upon a time
No more than cave man
No language to communicate
No understanding to gain.

But, his nature to excel
Always rules the plane
Organising things that propel
Towards the shining horizon.

The babbling wandering man
Discovered melody profound
Composed music with peace within
With meare vowels and consonants wound.

Classical music reverberate within soul
Pulling positive vibes deep down
Expelling the unwanted brawl
Rumbling like a ball on crown.

Music is rashphody
Word beyond solitude
Firmly fixed in melody
Nailing you to quietude.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Classical music is a music that has no words just vowels and consonants so well composed and snuggly fit that's soothing to soul. Image is by Raja Ravi Varma[3][4] (29 April 1848 - 2 October 1906) was a celebrated Indian painter and artist. He is considered among the greatest painters in the history of Indian art. His works are one of the best examples of the fusion of European academic art with a purely Indian sensibility and iconography.
