Quiet Quest Within Poem by Santanu Banerjee

Quiet Quest Within

Amid the noise, where winds of worry wail,
The soul seeks shelter from the ceaseless sound,
A whispered hope, a soft and sacred trail,
Where peace is hidden, waiting to be found.

Like ripples round a lake in morning's glow,
The heart extends its calm in widening rings,
Through tempests tossed, and torrents' heavy flow,
It hears the quiet hum of gentle things.

The world may roar, with voices loud and fierce,
But stillness waits beneath the storm's strong sway,
Through tangled thoughts, its silence starts to pierce,
And guides the mind to clearer, calmer day.

For peace, once found, no wind can strip away—
It blooms within, though all the skies turn gray.
