The pain of a broken heart, so very well expressed in this beautiful poem. I think the word love has too many meanings in the English language. Romantic love tends to be a bit possissive and is rather fragile. The unconditional love we give to our famly members is of quite a different nature. If we can manage to put a bit of the second into the first, it may be a good thing. Sorry, for trying to answer an unanswerable question. The poem is great.
