O' Lord, in Thy glory and Thy divinity
is a Queen who has come to rest;
grant her O' Lord the peace she deserves
as her long journey of life has reached it's end;

she has been thro war and seen turbulence
she has dealt with her duties with diligence
yet she reigned in conviviality and cordiality,
with humility, generosity and serenity
all thro and thro those decades of dedication;

she has been the epitome of courage and bravery
she has been what a queen mother should be:
loving to her family and as a monarch to her people,
she has given every hour the grace she could relay;

she reigned with compassion and commitment
she reasoned well with discretion and prudence;
these were all her qualities and talents as she lived
these were all her merits and virtues as she existed;

her gentleness was in her poise and determination
her concurrence to her promises made her gently smile;
now as her tired soul stands at Thy door to seek rest
O Lord please let her in and grant her peace;

allot her the compassion she has showered on others,
allot her that worthiness she has bestowed on others;
and though many may be those prayers of faith
ultimately O benevolent Lord in Thy arms is bliss;

So Lord, grant her humble soul the peace she deserves.
