Ham ne dekha he ke jab hind ki taqseem hui. Rooh-e-pakeeza sar-e-rah saraseem hui. Larkian kood gaeen daryaon men or chahon men. Zindgi mout hui un ko haseen banhon men. Rooh us darja-e-aizaaz pe faaiz thi kia? Khudkushi mazhab-e-islam men jaaiz thi kia? ? ?

most respectfully i disagree with honorable poet deep.... i see despondence and the eternal search for internal peace in these lines. the culmination of ones illusory spiritual journey an unfulfilled dream so to say to me it is the wail of banshees from the netherworld...calling out a name over and over again.... the poet has done a great job at compression and allegory wow...loved it peace :)

it's very very soulful and pure! ! ! ! it evokes a feeling of satisfaction :)
