A very comprehensive, imaginative poem about the pyramids, and a fine illustration. The Great Pyramids are so different from the Tower of Babel of the Old Testament. I wrote a poem myself about the pyramids, but later deleted it because I had not actually seen them.
I too think about the Great Pyramids. They are an enduring monument to the Egyptian pharaohs, but much more than that. As you say, there was no scaffolding then, no iron. I would love to see the pyramids.
