Pushed To Die. Poem by cassie wheathers

Pushed To Die.

The light in me flickers and dies.
The world in me is ending.
The life fades from my eyes.
And I am falling.
You broke back through
Tapped into,
Found my inner child and stayed.
Calmed the waves
Of my nerves.
You spilled your silence in me.
Subdued.
Passed away, let me fly
But I never left.
I felt your tremors through the grey.
You fled from me, ran away.
So now I die.
