I'm sorry I'm not able to identify the words correctly SL..not that I pretend to be a non-tamil modern lady...I am a tamil who studied sirappu thamizh in school..but here..it's a bit difficult to make out some of the words and hence hard to get into the meaning...anyway congratulations for your attempt

I have translated Silappadigaram, Manimegalai and many other stories from Tamil to English poetry, but I fail to follow what you say here. Kindly excuse me.

I can't really understand the meaning but one thing is for sure, the rhyming is in tune with the poem itself.Good job Samanyan.
