Are you scared?
Scared of this raging rainstorm,
Crawling and roaming above your head
Or afraid of it's deafening thunders
Which explodes and blinds you on the gaze.
Are you tired?
Tired enough to take a pause,
From carrying the burden of loneliness;
Or Enough to make you go in hiding,
Hiding In the shadows to find solace.
Are you exhausted?
For the thirst you never quenched;
For the shelter and rest you never take;
By taking the long path in barren deserts
Some by choice and some by fate.
Are you worried?
Worried for your life to end
In no meanings and connections,
Worried for this gift to go waste
Being deprived of love and affection.
Say No more, Say No more
No more hiding under your bed
No more peeking out of dark corners
Break down your walls, fight away your fears,
And shake off your treasured sweet and delicious tears.
Tear down your old cherished addictions
And make some space for what you can be.
Silence the devil's doubt inside your head
to swear on yourself and promise me.
Promise me never to feel so small again
At the gloomiest day of ages, Stand tall,
And spread more branches of Love and Hope
As for now and ever they conquer above all.
Promise me to let the sun in your mirror
and off the dust of your neglect,
For you to truly see what you are
For you to truly be not afraid.
Promise me not to go blind to yourself
The way you greet others, greet yourself too.
For another warm and comforting hug
Spread your arms out for yourself too.
Promise me not to wait for any company
For the great feast you longed to join
But drip your fingers, to lick and suck
To satiate your hunger and pour some more wine.
Promise me not to cry someone a river
For another tear you shed in vain
And hear yourself out for your own needs
Rather than lending an ear to listen.
In the long nights of lying in that empty bed
Promise me you won't even dare to suffocate
As the time will pass on for morning to come
For you to breath most purest air unrestricted.
Promise me you won't ever surrender
and succumb to the void and darkness
Promise me you'll touch the dawning sun
To rejuvenate in light and brightness.
For the last time hear me say
"If Loving others is a great virtue,
Loving yourself is the greatest.
And Who needs a reason to smile,
For yours itself is so heartfelt.
Your soul might be drenched in pain
But cure comes by loving yourself selflessly
Having passed thirty springs and winters
You should know you are The one and only'
