Probe Poem by PRAVEEN KUMAR English Poems

Probe

Wherever I look while awake or not,
You appear like Goddess of my heart;
Wherever I listen for your presence,
I hear you sing welcoming me near.

I gaze very hard all over the far sky,
And I probe all around far horizons,
I do feel I found you smiling at me,
While open up subtle awareness.

You promised while parted, not far,
I believed and set gaze all around
To catch you back, bind to my roots,
Alas, you slip, yet stay in my grasp.

We know, we never ever really part,
But for space for nature's little games;
Nature played fair with grief's share,
Time shall restore us both to our fare.

However far be fare, time can't dare
To keep us apart like this forever;
Time is little speck in eternal stretch,
Destined we're to entangle ourselves.

How long this wait, how far to sail,
How far land is hidden under marsh?
No North Star in sky shed a clue to us,
And I end up in probe for some clue.

I know, in leash, you can't come out,
Though very near and within my grasp;
You shed light from soul to enunciate
Distinct presence not far from hither.

I know your grief; you, certainly mine,
That bind us closer in one more sheath;
Joy or grief, both serve desperate souls,
Those seek each other from real depths.

Patience pays those who wait for long,
Rewards befall those who truly belong;
Shrivel not, love, by the laggard world,
All is truly all right in this God's world.
