A young man
doing prison time
had a girlfriend
she would write him
she would come to visit him
in prison
she went to bed
in a house
he went to bed
on a prison bunk
he as locked up
she was free
they lived different lives
every time she came
to visit him
she never talked to him
about the possibility
of him getting out!
she just seemed happy
having things
the way they were
but he never thought
that she was betraying him
long has he was in prison
behind bars
he would never know!
