…we are fond of our own built cages. Praise God you have uttered these things for He reveals them and provides the escape! As you say it's a cooperative effort…we must fight for the release. Thank you for directing us a step closer to God! !
The day we break free of our inner-selves Is the day we are a step closer to God....Yes, it's absolutely correct. I most sincerely admire your poetic expression and your style of penning. Top score.

Hi Aarzoo, A lovely philosophical poem, reflecting the noble teachings of the Vedas. May be Quran should be counted as the fifth Veda, which has taught you so much about the fallacy of living guided by your desires. Once we free ourselves from their clutches, the powerful light of hope and extreme faith remain to guide us ahead the spiritual Way. Great work. Let me quote: The day the furnace of desires is doused Is the day we are free from life's seduction. Loved reading the poem.10+++
You are right Aarzoo, but that day is the day of death. I think God wants us to pass the life in moderation and for that he has asked the men to follow a discipline. Your poem is beautiful and nice.
A r z o o, the great teachings of Lord Buddha, 'Desire is the root cause of sorrow', so nicely penned by you in your mesmeric stanzas.........
A great poem indeed... so true in life...... these are our own problems........ it is ours to recognize its worth and worthlessness. we are prisoners of our own desires... you raise yourself to the level of great spiritual beings with this poem. tony
True words of wisdom, we are indeed prisoners of worldly things. I do wish one day I can let go of my shackles. Great job fellow poet
Your poem focuses desire which is the root-cause of all sorrows.....subtract desire from a human being..it will be God.......splendid presentation...
Bound by the chains of desires, man is a prisoner in this world. Simple true philosophy of iife hidden in every word and line. Marvelously explained. You as usual turn out with the best poem. loved and enjoyed.10++++++++
