Prison Walls Poem by Dorsey Baker

Prison Walls

Rating: 3.5

Prison walls
you are
trying to take
his manhood
his dignity
away
Prison walls
you are trying to
steal his spirit
Prison walls
you beat
him down like
a dog
until all his
hope is gone
take away his teeth
and give him false ones
Prison walls
you turn him into an animal
give him the urge
to prey
upon his fellowman
Prison walls
you develop
his weakness discourage
his strength!
Prison walls
you make him obey
your wishes
Prison walls
the prisoner
becomes your slave!
