Very poignant. But they still have their dreams. Excellent write.10 for you. Warm regards, Sandra
As always, your poem speaks so much to readers, Sandra...Masterfully expressed! Thanks for sharing with us. A.
How wrong can you be? These bastards will be living a high life in prison, they'll pay the guards to ensure they do. Seriously, Jerry Hughes
This is indeed karma and it is great to know the 'what goes around comes around' philosophy is now working, prison being the punishment. Senyru is definitely your forte as these are excellent. 10 Karin Anderson
Sandra this is excellent..a thousand images in a few lines.. my 10 regards Alf
All good things come to those who wait.....but the good times never last forever.....beautifully expressed Sandra...you always, and never fail to deliver the most thoughtful pieces in every fresh and amazingly penned piece you create with that golden pen of yours......a pleasure as always to view your creations...10++
well said Sandra...all that begin well needn't always end well...thanks...10
There is always an end to everything.... A sad write indeed..tsk, tsk
U mean dreaming of new schemes within those walls, That talent could even turn round the place into a commercial success! ! . I think I heard this before! ! You sound like a journalist!
This is a wonderfully expressed senryu triplet, Sandra, and some brilliant social commentary as well. When our economy was booming, many people like those you mention in your poem made fortunes, knowing there would be little government interference. Times have changed, and now many of their schemers are facing life in prison! You expressed this very well in this charming senryu triplet. Carl.
very well said sandra..financial crimes are more harmful..only one fact like other crime in this the doer alone cannot do it
Wonderful write Sandra....and we wouldn't expect anything less from your pen...Fi 10+++
It couldn't happen to a nicer couple of fellows. (smile) They were laboring under the illusion that you get paid for being more clever and sneaky than anyone else. Now they are back in the outright bribe system, much more practical and transparent.
