You didn't know what love is, Golden girl! You didn't know how treasured that is, Until you lost it, You shouldn't have been so oblivious, Until you didn't find it! IF ONLY THEY HAD BRAINS LIKE GUYS HAVE HEADS TWO U KNEW

In this poem I see a little Malabika playful, carefree, jovial, trusting each flower and every butterfly sitting on it and a sweet fragrance of nostalgia blows throughout the garden with a window, past-ward. Thank you poetess for this lovely play of words that bears the sweetness of evening breeze over the river Ganga. 10+++++ for the sharing. Regards. Subhas

What a beautiful compliment and the lovely words you have used to describe the place I often dream about! It is indeed a place close to River Ganga, I just don't know how you thought about that! Thanks so much!

Delighted to know you liked the expression. Sometimes childhood memories bring sadness, we become emotional! That's life!

Nostalgic feelings of sheer bliss that could not assuage the pains of a heavy heart, well articulated and elegantly brought forth from inner recesses of the heart with insight. Remembering good times in bad time can be very sorrowful. A beautiful work of art. Thanks for sharing Malabika.

Your comments are so valuable to me! I have attempted writing poetry only recently, but getting really encouraged by comments from poets like you! Probably I should continue. Poetry can be interpreted in many different ways, so glad you understand my emotions expressed in those poems. Thank you.

‘Little’ is a lovely poem. I find very simple and lucid expression! My favorite lines: “You missed your golden moment, Little Girl! /You chose a turbulent life/And left behind a true love/You missed your precious moment, darling girl! ” Wish to have many such lovely writings from what I sense a budding poetic heart!

I enjoyed this poem with its magical images of flowers - - remember poetry is the language of the soul and heart and your poetry is the work of a poet.

I totally agree with you - poetry is the language of soul and heart! At present my focus is on expressing my feelings, my innermost thoughts about life, but I intend to, and perhaps need to work on, using interesting vocabulary, and poetic imagery more and more. Thank you for your lovely comments.
