Princess Of My Sorrow Poem by Sanji-Paul Arvind

Princess Of My Sorrow

On you I attached my happiness, my Princess,
A fool, blinded, believing in you, it resides.
I thought true happiness was meant to give,
But the world shattered as I waited to receive.

It wasn't once my dear that I fell for you,
Every time I saw you, I fell deeper too.
Yet, you hid your darkest side,
Where a cruel and an evil reside.

My mind is addicted to you as my solace,
Caught in a never-ending chase.
By mind, my heart is being dictated,
And my thoughts are clear, aren't fabricated,

Your absence is a torment like a hell,
But still, I lingered forever to dwell.
For I could bear the pain of longing,
Better than the falsehoods you kept on prolonging.

A storm & thunder that cracked my sky,
Turning my heart to ash, as you passed by.
A tornado of commotion swept through my soul,
Leaving nothing but a broken whole.

Dressed like an angel, sweet and divine,
But your touch, like fire, burned mine.
A flame that erupted now left me cold,
Disrupting the love that I once did hold.

Now, my love, forever lost and erased,
From life's embrace like a criminal I was chased.
My heart, a shattered relic of your deceit,
Now only sorrow remains, an endless defeat.
