Princess Poem by Petra Novakova

Princess

In a land far far away she weeps for life
Through paper windows the princess sees all
Petals of cherry trees covering the palace floor
Most beautiful of the green to have ever been born
Sweet hummingbirds she hears from where they pray
The clashes of sword against sword chasing them away
Most of the men stand tall their loyalty already sworn
Servants and soldiers guard the blood stained door
So the princess may survive this season of fall
In a land far far away she weeps for life
